Cílem práce je analyzovat postavení absolventů na pracovním trhu v letech 2002--2013 (resp. podle dostupnosti dat 2005--2012) a zhodnotit efektivitu využití nástrojů a opatření na snížení počtu nezaměstnaných absolventů. Pro analýzu byla použita data z Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí a z Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy. Vývoj počtu nezaměstnaných absolventů v letech byl vyjádřen pomocí jejich podílu jednak na všech nezaměstnaných a dále na všech absolventech, kteří úspěšně ukončili studium. Samotné výpočty doprovází i zkoumání faktorů, které ovlivňují počet nezaměstnaných absolventů, jako jsou: celková míra nezaměstnanosti, demografická situace, změna legislativy apod. Absolventi patří mezi ohrožené skupiny na trhu práce, kterým je věnována zvýšená péče. Rekvalifikace představují pouze jeden z nástrojů aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti, které jsou na ně zacíleny. Podle výpočtu vykazují rekvalifikovaní absolventi v porovnání s jinými skupinami na pracovním trhu vysokou šanci na umístění do zaměstnání do 1 roku. The objective of the thesis is to analyze the labour market status of graduates from 2002 to 2013 (according to available data 2005--2012) and then to evaluate the efficiency of tools to decline the unemployment among graduates. Data for this analysis come from Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Development of number of unemployed graduates is shown on their proportion to total number of unemployed people and their share to all graduates. This research is beside these calculations focused on factors, which affect the rate of unemployment of graduates, like total rate of unemployment, demographic situation, legislation changes etc. Graduates belong to specific workforce, which are more secured. Retraining is just one of tools target on that people. According to calculation, the efficiency of retraining programms for graduates is very high in comparism to other labour market groups.
