Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnocení ekonomiky fotbalového klubu Manchester United F. C. a její porovnání s konkurenčními kluby za období 2009-2013. Dílčím cílem je vyhodnocení splnitelnosti nových pravidel UEFA Financial Fair Play. V teoreticko-metodologické části jsou uvedeny specifické charakteristiky ekonomiky sportovních klubů. Dále je popsán obsah nových pravidel UEFA Financial Fair Play. Následuje popis metod a ukazatelů finanční a ekonomické analýzy. Praktická část se zaměřuje na analýzu ekonomiky vybraného fotbalového klubu Manchester United F. C. The main aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to assess economic situation of the football club Manchester United F. C. and to compare it with competing clubs in the period from 2009 to 2013. The partial aim is to assess fulfilment of the new UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations. The theoretical part states specific characteristics of the economics of sports clubs. Furthermore, it describes the content of the UEFA Financial Fair Play Regulations. It is followed by description of the methods and indicators of financial and economic analysis. The practical part is focused on analysis of economic situation of the football club Manchester United F. C.
