Cílem bakalářské práce je představit koncept společenské odpovědnosti, poukázat na problém plýtvání potravinami a uvést možná řešení. Práce se skládá se z dvou hlavních částí -- teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část popisuje historický vývoj, soubor definic a základní charakteristiky spolu se třemi stěžejními pilíři celého konceptu. Praktická část se zaměřuje na plýtvání potravinami a uvádí přehled příčin a důsledků v dimenzi environmentální, sociální a ekonomické. Zároveň jsou zde přiblíženy kroky ze strany společnosti Tesco směřující k eliminaci plýtvání a možnému zlepšení na tuzemském trhu. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to introduce the concept of social responsibility, to highlight the problem of food waste and to provide possible solutions. The work consists of two main parts - theoretical part and practical part. The theoretical part describes the historical development, definitions and the basic characteristics together with the three main pillars of the concept. The practical part focuses on food waste and provides an overview of the causes and consequences in the environmental, social and economic dimensions. At the same time, there are described steps made by Tesco towards the elimination of waste and possible improvements in the domestic market.
