Lidský svět se neustále vyvíjí. Dnešní moderní společnost je v rámci technologického pokroku a globalizace dynamičtější než kdy dříve a to samé platí i pro současné pojetí světa fotografie. Tato oblast lidské činnosti za dobu své existence doznala celé řady změn a to jak technického, tak i duševního a významového charakteru. Jakou úlohu však fotografie hraje v dnešní moderní společnosti? Liší se oproti minulosti, a pokud ano, v čem? Co fotografii přinesly nové technologie a jakou měrou ji ovlivnily? A především, do jaké míry lze fotografii propojit a využít s dalšími složkami multimédií za účelem vytvoření ucelené multimediální zkušenosti? Analýza těchto otázek a jejich zodpovězení tvoří základ této bakalářské práce společně s interpretací výsledků a zkušeností praktických částí (fotografie) skupinového projektu Multimedia Display a Programu aplikovaného výzkumu a vývoje národní a kulturní identity (NAKI) vytvořeného ministerstvem ČR. Cílem této práce je poskytnout efektivní teoretickou základnu pro uchopení významu fotografie s cílem podat předpoklady pro maximální využití jejího potenciálu při tvorbě multimediálního projektu. The human world is constantly evolving. Today's modern society is, within the technological advances and globalization, more dynamic than ever before. The same applies to the current conception of the world of photography. This area of human activity has undergone many changes during its existence, both of technical and intellectual character. What role does the photography play in today's modern society? Does it differ from the past, and if so, to what extent? What do new technologies bring to photography and to what extent were they influenced by it? And above all, to what extent can we use a photography in combination with other multimedia components to create a complex multimedia experience? The analysis of these questions and their answers form the basis of this bachelor's thesis, regarding interpretation of results and practical experience gathered from group project Multimedia Display and Development of National and Cultural Identity Program (NAKI) created by the Cultural Ministry of the Czech Republic. The aim of this thesis is to provide an effective theoretical basis for understanding the importance of photography in order to reveal assumptions for maximal utilization of its potential in creating a multimedia project.
