Cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikovat a popsat příčiny problémů fotbalových klubů Glasgow Rangers FC a Portsmouth FC, které se dostaly do finanční krize. Práce si klade za cíl zodpovědět otázku, která rizika představují pro klub největší nebezpečí a které faktory hrají nejdůležitější roli ve finančním úpadku fotbalových klubů. Teoretická část práce představuje metodologický základ pro část praktickou, ve které jsou jednotlivé kluby analyzovány v případových studiích. V poslední kapitole je nastíněn osud fotbalových vesnic v České republice a v Německu. The aim of this work is to identify and describe the causes of the problems of football clubs Glasgow Rangers FC and Portsmouth FC, which entered the financial crisis. This thesis aims to answer the question, what constitutes the greatest danger for the club and which factors play the most important role in the financial decline of football clubs. The theoretical part of the work provides the methodological basis for the practical part, where the individual clubs are analyzed in case studies. The last chapter deals with the destiny of football villages in the Czech Republic and Germany.
