Práce se zabývá dvěma fenomény v Japonsku, konkrétně na japonském trhu práce: freeters a hikikomori. Pro japonskou společnost, která je známá pro svůj tradiční systém celoživotního zaměstnání, jsou tyto jevy velkou výzvou v procesu strukturálních reforem, o které se japonská vláda pokouší. Cílem práce je zhodnotit vliv fenoménů na japonskou ekonomiku po hospodářské krizi. V první kapitole jsou vymezeny pojmy freeters a hikikomori a je definován jejich vznik. Druhá část zkoumá vliv fenoménů na ekonomiku Japonska v období po hospodářské krizi. Také se zde snažím zhodnotit opatření ze strany vlády v reakci na tyto fenomény. Poslední kapitola se krátce věnuje existenci jevů v okolních státech Japonska a ve světě. The thesis focuses on two phenomena in Japan, more specifically on the Japanese labour market: freeters and hikikomori. These phenomena represent a great challenge in the process of structural reforms that await Japanese society, which is known for its traditional system of lifetime employment. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the influence of these phenomena on Japanese economy after the Great Recession. The first part of the thesis defines the terms freeters and hikikomori and describes their origin. The second chapter analyses the influence of the phenomena on the Japanese economy in the period after the Great Recession. The effort is also to evaluate the measures of Japanese government in reaction to these phenomena. At the end the thesis addresses the question if the phenomena are present in the surrounding countries of Japan and even the world.
