Diplomová práce se zabývá fungováním a rozvojovou politikou Světové banky. Hlavním cílem je shrnout vývoj strategií Banky v jednotlivých dekádách její existence a zhodnotit vybrané nástroje, jež organizace používá v boji proti chudobě. Master thesis deals with functioning and development policy of the World Bank. The main objective is to summarize the Bank's strategies applied during the several decades of its existence and evaluate selected tools that organization uses in the fight against poverty.
