Hlavním cílem této práce bude provedení finanční analýzy podniku HOCHTIEF CZ a. s. mezi lety 2009 -- 2013. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, a sice metodologické části a praktické části. Metodologická část práce je zaměřena na nastínění důležitých pojmů, finančních ukazatelů, modelů a souvisejících pravidel. Zatímco v praktické části dochází k využití jednotlivých složek metodologické části, které jsou důkladně zanalyzovány a interpretovány autorem práce. Konkrétně je praktická část práce zaměřena převážně na analýzu absolutních ukazatelů, poměrových ukazatelů, analýzu čistého pracovního kapitálu, provedení výpočtu ekonomické přidané hodnoty společnosti a aplikaci bankrotního modelu profesora Edwarda Altmana. V závěru práce dochází ke zdůraznění nejdůležitějších zjištěných skutečností, k poukázání na slabé a silné stránky společnosti a vyhodnocení jejího finančního zdraví. Následně autor vydává doporučení pro management společnosti a dodává osobní predikci z pohledu společnosti ohledně situace na stavebním trhu v blízké budoucnosti. The aim of this Bachelor's Thesis is a financial analysis of the company HOCHTIEF CZ a. s. between years 2009 -- 2013. The Bachelor's Thesis is divided into two main parts, namely into the methodological part and the practical part. The methodological part is focused on the outline important terms, financial indicators, models and related rules. On the contrary, the practical part uses the individual components of the methodological part that are thoroughly analyzed and interpreted by the author. Specifically, the practical part is mainly concentrated on the analysis of absolute indicators, financial ratios, net working capital, the calculation of economic value added and application bankruptcy model. In order to evaluate the possibility of bankruptcy of the company was chosen the Z -- score formula for predicting bankruptcy by Edward Altman. The conclusion highlights the most important facts, the strenghts and weaknesses of the company and the evaluation of financial health. The author also adds created recommendations for company management and personal prediction about the situation in the construction industry in the near future.
