Práce se zabývá postoji evropských představitelů k sankcím uvaleným na Ruskou federaci v roce 2014 v reakci na události na Ukrajině. Toto téma je aktuální, protože zavedené sankce jsou stále v platnosti a ani se nechystá jejich ukončení. Práce analyzuje závislost na zahraničním obchodě a dodávkách surovin ve vztahu k Rusku a postoje politických reprezentací a představitelů hospodářské sféry v Česku, Německu, Rakousku, Slovensku a Maďarsku vůči protiruským sankcím. Práce ukazuje negativní korelaci mezi hospodářskou a energetickou závislostí a podporou použití ekonomických sankcí jako vhodného nástroje mezinárodní politiky. Thesis deals with the attitude of European leaders to the sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation in 2014 in response to events in Ukraine. This topic is relevant because the introduced sanctions are still in force and it is not being prepared their termination. The thesis analyses dependence on foreign trade and supply of raw materials in relation to Russia and the attitudes of political representatives and representatives of the economic sphere in the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Hungary toward anti-Russian sanctions. The thesis shows a negative correlation between economic and energy dependency and support of the use of economic sanctions as an appropriate tool of international politics.
