[eng][cze] We examine the extent of convergence in the Czech Republic and Russia, economies that represent alternative models of implementing the Washington Consensus. We also test hypothesis positing that only firms near the efficiency frontier benefit from these policies and catch up.Zkoumáme rozsah sbližování České republiky a Ruska jakožto dvou reprezentantů uplatňování rozdílných modelů Washingtonského konsensu. Testujeme hypotézu, že jenom firmy na hranici efektivnosti mohou profitovat z těchto opatření a z konvergence.
