Diplomová práce deskriptivním způsobem představuje problematiku ekonomické spolupráce Číny s Evropskou unií. Důraz je kladen na ekonomické vztahy, jež byly prezentovány prostřednictvím výsledků hospodářské spolupráce od roku 1975 až do současnosti. Vzájemné vztahy však nelze považovat pouze za výslednici ekonomických proměnných, proto je problematika doplněna o mezinárodně politická témata úzce s problematikou související. Zjištěná ekonomická data jsou využita k analýze slabých a silných stránek ekonomických vztahů Číny a Evropské unie a vyvození hrozeb a příležitostí, které z nich vyplývají. The thesis deals with the issues of economic cooperation between China and the Euroepan Union. Particular emphasis is given to the economic relations which are presented in the results of economic cooperation from 1975 until present. Whereas the mutual relations cannot be almost purely considered as a resultant economic variables, the issue is supplemented by international political questions which are closely related to the issue as well. The observed economic data are used to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of economic relations of China and the European Union and threats and opportunities arising from them.
