Diplomová práce se věnuje dopadům populační politiky Číny. Její obsah je rozdělen do tří kapitol. První kapitola pojednává o charakteristikách populační politiky z obecného hlediska. Je zde vysvětlen pojem populační politika a vymezení jejích typů a nástrojů. Dále jsou v dané kapitole popsány její světové podoby. Druhá kapitola se zabývá charakterizací populační politiky Číny, zejména pak historií a vývojem. Obsahuje také popis registračního systému "hukou" a výjimky z dříve již nastíněné populační politiky. Závěrem kapitoly jsou diskutovány dopady čínské populační politiky. Poslední kapitola diplomové práce je věnována problematice populačního stárnutí nejen z pohledu Číny, ale také přímým srovnáním této oblasti s Japonskem. The diploma thesis deals with the impacts of China's population policy. Thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first one discusses the characteristics of population policy in general, mainly the concept and definition of population policy's types and instruments and also the current practices in the world. The second chapter deals with the characteristics of population policy in China from the historical point of view. There is also a description of the registration system "hukou" and exemptions from the population policy. The second chapter also describes the impacts of China's population policy. The last chapter is devoted to the population aging with an explanation of aging in China and comparison of aging in China with aging in Japan.
