Specifické postavení Tchaj-wanu v mezinárodních vztazích způsobuje, že jednou mála oblastí, v níž je působení Tchaj-wanu ze strany pevninské Číny tolerováno je oblast ekonomická, a proto se v současnosti Tchaj-wan zaměřuje na tzv. pragmatickou a flexibilní (nevládní) diplomacii, která je založena na podpoře a rozvoji ekonomických vztahů. Diplomovou práci jsem rozdělil do čtyř částí. Práce se nejprve zabývá teoretickým vymezením hospodářské diplomacie. Základní charakteristice země je věnována druhá kapitola, ve třetí části se zabývám strukturou hospodářské diplomacie Tchaj-wanu a v poslední části jsou porovnávány bilaterální vztahy Tchaj-wanu s diplomatickým spojencem a se zemí bez oficiálních diplomatických styků. The area of economic cooperation represents one of the most important components of the country's foreign policy due to its special international status. The diploma thesis is divided into four parts. The first chapter deals with the theoretical definition of economic diplomacy. The basic characteristics of the land are mentioned in the second chapter, the third part deals with the structure of commercial diplomacy in Taiwan and the last section compares bilateral relations with Taiwan's diplomatic ally and the country without official diplomatic relations.
