Cieľom mojej práce je zhodnotiť podnikateľské prostredie v Botswane, a to osvetlením ekonomickej situácie v krajine a analýzou kultúrnych odlišností a zvykov. Tieto zvyky, tradície a kultúrne zvláštnosti ovplyvňujú nielen každodenný život obyvateľstva, ale aj obchodné jednania a správanie sa na pracovisku. Vo svojej práci preto objasňujem, či sú tieto zvyklosti a odlišnosti od európskej kultúry veľkým problémom pri obchodných jednaniach, na čo si treba dávať pozor a na čo sa treba pripraviť pri práci s ľuďmi z Botswany. Cílem mé práce je zhodnotit podnikatelské prostředí v Botswaně, a to osvětlením ekonomické situace v zemi a analýzou kulturních odlišností a zvyků. Tyto zvyky, tradice a kulturní zvláštnosti ovlivňují nejen každodenní život obyvatel, ale také obchodní jednání a chování na pracovišti. Ve své práci proto objasňuji, zda jsou tyto zvyklosti a odlišnosti od evropské kultury velkým problémem při obchodních jednáních, na co si je třeba dávat pozor a na co se třeba připravit při práci s lidmi z Botswany. The aim of my work is to evaluate the business environment in Botswana, to describe the economic situation in the country and to analyse the cultural differencies and customs of the country. These customs, traditions and cultural peculiarities do not affect only everyday life of the population, but also business meetings and behaviour at the workplace. That is the reason why I clarify whether these customs and differencies from european culture are a major problem in business negotiations, what to beware and what to be prepared for if working with people from Botswana.
