Příspěvek prezentuje výsledky terénního výzkumu v Českém rozhlase (ČRo), který byl zaměřen na výslovnost přejatých slov a cizích vlastních jmen. Pracovníci Ústavu pro jazyk český AV ČR v jeho rámci pořídili 15 polostrukturovaných interview se zaměstnanci ČRo. Článek především podává přehled cizích jmen, která respondenti, pracovníci Českého rozhlasu, označili za výslovnostně problematická nebo zajímavá. Pokud to bylo zjištěno, je u jednotlivých dokladů uvedeno, jaké různé výslovnostní varianty přicházejí podle respondentů u daného jména v úvahu, dále jaký je jejich postoj k těmto variantám, někdy je také naznačena cesta hledání náležité výslovnosti. Konečně je věnována pozornost povědomí respondentů o pravidlech pro výslovnost přejatých slov a cizích vlastních jmen. This article presents preliminary results from field research conducted at Czech Radio. Researchers from the Czech Language Institute conducted a total of 15 approximately hour-long semi-structured interviews with Czech Radio employees. Topics of the interviews included (a) words which are problematic or otherwise interesting in terms of pronunciation, and (b) potential solutions to these pronunciation problems. The article presents an overview of nearly 80 foreign-language names which have various pronunciation variants, respondents’ attitudes toward them, and in some cases their declared process of finding the appropriate pronunciation. Attention is further devoted to the respondents’ awareness of the rules for the pronunciation of loanwords and foreign language personal names in Czech.
