Autorka informuje o elektronické databázi, která bude obsahovat nápisy z českých zemí, jež mají něco společného s antikou. Cílem dlouhodobého projektu Antika v nápisné kultuře českých zemí je postupně zdokumentovat a analyzovat antické dědictví v epigrafické kultuře českých zemí od prvních nápisných dokumentů až do současnosti. Nehraje přitom roli, zda je tento odkaz vědomý či nevědomý. Výsledkem celého projektu budou studie o 'druhém životě' antického světa v nápisech českého prostředí, tedy v oblasti, které dosud nebylo věnováno dostatek pozornosti. Teprve v této fázi projektu budou zkoumány cesty, jakými se antika do našich nápisů dostávala. Tento druhý život antiky u nás bude konfrontován s dědictvím antiky v epigrafické kultuře dalších středoevropských zemí. Author informs of the database that will contain inscriptions from the Czech lands that have something to do with antiquity. The aim of this longterm project is to gradually document and analyse the heritage of antiquity in the epigraphic culture of the Czech Lands from the first inscriptive documents to the present, regardless of whether or not the heritage is conscious or unconscious. The outcome of the entire project will be studies on 'Nachleben / the second life' of the ancient world in inscriptions in the Czech Lands, i.e. an area to which insufficient attention has been paid so far. Only in this phase of the project will the ways that antiquity had been getting into Czech inscriptions be studied. This second life of antiquity in our country will be confronted with the heritage of antiquity in the epigraphic culture of other Central European countries.
