Podrobná analýza historických zpráv a archiválií z Rodového archivu knížat Lichtenštejnů ve Vídni umožňuje ztotožnit pražského malíře Antonína Stevense ze Steinfelsu (kolem 1610 – 1675) s dosud neurčeným malířem, o jehož angažování do svých služeb usiloval v roce 1640 kníže Gundaker z Lichtenštejna. V té souvislosti je nadhozeno autorství jednoho z Gundakerových portrétů, který se nachází v rodové sbírce knížat Lichtenštejnů. The detailed analysis of historical sources and archival text from the Family Archive of the Liechtenstein princes in Vienna allows us to identify the Prague painter Anton Stevens of Steinfels (around 1610–1675) with a so-far unidentified painter whom Prince Gundaker von Liechtenstein tried to employ in 1640. In connection with this identification, the author attempts to identify the authorship of one of Gundaker´s portraits found in the family collection of the Liechtenstein princes.
