Abstract: The dry-friction damping realized via the damping wire imposed into the head of the blades is experimentally and numerically investigated under rotation. The electromagnetic impulses synchronized with revolutions are used for the excitation of resonant vibration of the bladings. Dry-friction dampings are evaluated from the attenuation of vibration after switching the excitation.
