Diplomová práce je zaměřena na proměnlivost poptávky v oblasti cestovního ruchu a vývoj nových trendů v této oblasti. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována nově vznikajícímu trendu temné turistiky, který se začal rozvíjet na konci 20. století a postupně si získává pozornost médií, účastníků cestovního ruchu, provozovatelů atraktivit v oblasti cestovního ruch a vydobývá si svou pozici i na akademické půdě. V první části se práce zabývá proměnlivostí cestovního ruchu a etickým hlediskem vývoje cestovního ruchu. V další části je definován pojem temné turistiky a jsou zde rozpracovány motivy k účasti na této formě cestovního ruchu. Další část je zaměřena na předpoklady České republiky pro rozvoj temné turistiky a nejvýznamnější destinace v České republice i na světě. Analytická část je zaměřena na mínění běžného účastníka cestovního ruchu na tento fenomén a jeho ochotu účastnit se. This thesis is focused on the variability of the demand and the development of new trends in the fields of the tourism industry. Special attention is devoted to a new arising trend of the Dark Tourism. This trend has appeared in the end of the 20th century and it has gained the attraction of media, tourists, tourism specialists and other stakeholders. First part of the thesis is concerned with the variety of the tourism industry and the ethic question of the tourism development. The other part contains the Dark Tourism definition and the prevailing motivation for taking part in this tourism trend. Then the thesis is concerned with the Czech Republic, it's conditions and destinations for developing the Dark Tourism. Last part is devoted to research among common tourists and their attitude to the Dark Tourism.
