Pro testování mechanických vlastností historických malt i kamene byla na ÚTAM AV ČR v. v. i. již v předchozích letech vyvinuta speciální metodika zaměřená na sledování pevnosti zkušebních tělísek v tlaku, v tahu a v tahu za ohybu a na sledování pevnosti v hloubkovém profilu ošetřeného materiálu. In recent years, there has been developed a complex testing methodology at ITAM, regarding historic mortars and stone. It includes the three-point bending, compression and tensile strength measurements, as well as the determination of the consolidation depth profile in the material treated.
