Tématem této práce je komparace ekonomiky a obchodních vztahů Starověkého Řecka s Evropskou unií. Jedná se o analýzu obou ekonomik a jejich způsob navazování obchodních vztahů.Práce zkoumá starověkou civilizaci mezi lety 499 př. n. l. a 31 př. n. l. a Evropskou unii především v letech 1993 až 2012. Cílem práce je ilustrovat na příkladu Starověkého Řecka podobný hospodářský vývoj, kterým prošly evropské národy o stovky let později a srovnat vyspělost Starověkého Řecka se současným stavem Evropské unie. The subject of this paper is a comparison of the economy and commercial relations of Ancient Greece with the European union. It is an analysis of the two economies and their way of establishing the business relations. The work explores the ancient civilization between 499 BC and 31 BC and the European Union, particularly in the years 1993 to 2012. The aim is to illustrate similar economic development of Ancient Greece, as the European nations have undergone hundreds of years later and to compare the maturity of Ancient Greece with the current state of the European Union.
