Práce se zaměřuje na tři základní principy evropské energetické politiky -- tedy udržitelnost, konkurenceschopnost a zabezpečení dodávek a jejich působení v kontextu české energetiky. Práce mapuje vývoj a formování energetické politiky Evropské unie, dále se zabývá vývojem české energetiky od devadesátých let dvacátého století. Zkoumá, jak jsou tři základní principy zakotveny v české energetické politice a jaké přínosy a rizika přináší. The thesis focuses on the three main goals of European energy policy -- sustainability, competitiveness and security of energy supply -- and their influence in the Czech energy policy. The thesis deals with the development of European Union energy policy, it is also concerned with the development of the Czech energy policy since the 90s of the 20th century. It analyzes how the three main goals are included in the energy policy of Czech Republic and what are their benefits and risks.
