Bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením ženy na trhu práce v České republice se zaměřením na mzdovou diskriminaci podle pohlaví. Práce shrnuje všechny hlavní životní situace, kterými žena v průběhu života prochází, a které dávají podklad k rozdílnému odměňování mužů a žen. Cílem této práce je pokusit se dokázat příčiny mzdové diskriminace žen na trhu práce. Ovlivňujícími faktory jsou například vzdělání, věk, zaměření studia, pracovní úvazek, pracovní zkušenosti, pracovní odvětví. Hlavním zdrojem důkazů budou data z ČSÚ a další statistické ukazatele. Na základě dat dojde ke komparaci obou pohlaví, ale i případové studie z vybraných zemí Evropské Unie. Podrobeny kritice budou i akce ze strany Evropské Unie, jejichž cílem je eliminovat diskriminaci a dosáhnout rovného postavení žen a mužů. Thesis of this work involves position of women in the labor market in the Czech Republic with a focus on wage discrimination by sex. The work brings together all the major life situations which a woman goes through during lifetime, and which gives a basis for wage differences between genders. The aim of this work is to prove causes of wage discrimination against women in the labor market. Influencing factors are, for example, education, age, type types of study programs, working time, work experience or employment sector. The main sources of reference are data from the ČSÚ and various other statistical indicators. Based on these data a comparison will be done between both sexes connected to several case studies from selected countries of the European Union. Critically reviewed will be measures of the European Union, whose one of many goals is to eliminate discrimination and achieve equality between women and men.
