Abstract: The present work was focused on investigating two different approaches for unconventional seed treatments. The paper presents results obtained using low pressure high frequency cold plasma and atmospheric pressure GlidArc plasma for seed treatments. Wheat, corn, barley and oat seeds were treated for 3, 5 and 10 minutes with low pressure microwave plasma and with GlidArc plasma. Germination and early growth were evaluated in laboratory conditions.
