Cílem diplomové práce je vymezení pojmu "zástavní hodnota" a také definování principů, které je nutné dodržovat při jejím stanovení. Veškeré zásady pro stanovení zástavní hodnoty nemovitosti jsou aplikovány na ocenění konkrétní nemovitosti v České republice. Tato diplomová práce se rovněž snaží upozornit na možná rizika, která mohou ovlivnit korektní stanovení zástavní hodnoty. The aim of this thesis is to define "the collateral value", and also to define the principles that must be observed when is the collateral value determined. All the principles for establishing the collateral value are applied to the valuation of concrete real estate in the Czech Republic. This thesis also seeks to highlight the potential risks that may affect the correct determination of collateral value.
