Předmětem této diplomové práce je představení týmové práce a virtuálních týmů. Teoretická část práce se věnuje zrodu týmové práce, její definici, vlastnostem, výhodám a nevýhodám. Dále je popsán virtuální tým, jeho rozdíly oproti klasickému týmu, definice a charakteristika virtuálního týmu a také nástroje, které jsou používány při práci ve virtuálním týmu. Druhá, praktická, část je zaměřena na virtuální týmy na vysokých školách v České republice. Přínosem práce je pak metodika týmové práce, která by měla pomoci vysokoškolským virtuálním týmům ke snazší spolupráci, k efektivní práci a ke kvalitním výsledkům práce. The aim of this diploma thesis is the introduction of teamwork and virtual teams. The theoretical part of this work describes the birth of teamwork, its definition, properties, advantages and disadvantages. Next part of diploma thesis is dedicated to the virtual team. It describes the difference among virtual and traditional team, definition and characteristics of virtual team as well as tools that are used in virtual team. The second, practical, unit is focused on virtual teams at universities in the Czech republic. The benefit of this work is the methodology of team work, which should help university virtual teams to easier collaboration, to work efficiently and to create the quality results of teamwork.
