Tato diplomová práce se věnuje fenoménu kulturních a kreativních průmyslů a roli kulturních a kreativních odvětví v regionálním rozvoji. Práce rámcově definuje nejvýznamnější výzkumné koncepty v této oblasti a identifikuje ekonomický význam kulturních a kreativních průmyslů. Součástí tohoto dokumentu je rovněž představení projektu Evropské hlavní město kultury a vymezení jeho ekonomických přínosů. Prioritou této práce je zmapování kulturních a kreativních průmyslů na území Plzeňského kraje a města Plzně a zhodnocení efektivity a důsledků realizace projektu Plzeň 2015-Evropské hlavní město kultury pro rozvoj regionu. Na základě výsledků analytického šetření je zde zhodnocen potenciál kultury a kreativity v rozvoji Plzeňského kraje a města Plzně. This diploma's thesis explores the phenomenon cultural and creative industries and their role in regional development. The document generally defines the most important research concepts in this area and identifies the economical importance of cultural and creative industries. Part of this document is also a presentation of the project European Capital of Culture and the definition of its economic benefits. The priority of this study is to map the cultural and creative industries in the Pilsen region and the city of Pilsen and evaluation of the effectiveness and impact of the project Pilsen 2015-European Capital of Culture for the development of the region. Based on the results of the analytical investigation is assessed potential of culture and creativity in the development of the Pilsen region and the city of Pilsen.
