Diplomová práca je venovaná postaveniu ratingových agentúr na finančných trhoch. Hlavným cieľom je prognózovať možné postavenie ratingových agentúr, ktoré je v súčasnej dobe ovplyvňované najmä zo strany európskych politikov. Politici v poslednej dobe venovali ratingovým agentúram nejedno kritické slovo a snažia sa moc týchto spoločností obmedziť. Podstatou diplomovej práce je zhrnúť príčiny kritiky ratingových agentúr so zameraním na kritiku ohľadom znižovania ratingov štátov. Následne je rozobrané zníženie ratingu USA a Francúzska, ktoré po prvýkrát v histórii prišli o svoje AAA hodnotenie. Posledná kapitola je venovaná možnému postaveniu ratingových agentúr. Prvou možnosťou je založenie Európskej ratingovej agentúry, druhou je sprísnenie regulácie a potom je to situácia, keby ratingové agentúry boli zrušené, respektíve keby vôbec neexistovali. Diplomová práce je věnována postavení ratingových agentur na finančních trzích. Hlavním cílem je prognózovat možné postavení ratingových agentur, které je v současné době ovlivňováno zejména ze strany evropských politiků. Politici v poslední době věnovali ratingovým agenturám nejedno kritické slovo a snaží se moc těchto společností omezit. Podstatou diplomové práce je shrnout příčiny kritiky ratingových agentur se zaměřením na kritiku ohledně snižování ratingů států. Následně je rozebrané snížení ratingu USA a Francie, které poprvé v historii přišly o své AAA hodnocení. Poslední kapitola je věnována možnému postavení ratingových agentur. První možností je založení Evropské ratingové agentury, druhou je zpřísnění regulace a pak je to situace, kdyby ratingové agentury byly zrušeny, respektive kdyby neexistovaly. The thesis is devoted to the position of rating agencies in the financial markets. The main aim is to predict the position of these companies, which is currently mainly influenced by the European politicians. Politicians criticize them and try to limit their power. The essence of this thesis is to summarize the reasons for their criticism, focusing on reduction of sovereign ratings. Then it's discussed a downgrading the USA and France. For the first time in a history they lost their AAA rating. The last chapter is devoted to the possible position of rating agencies. The first option is the establishment of the European rating agency, the other one is tightening regulation and the last is a situation if the rating agencies were abolished.
