Bakalářská práce se věnuje poslednímu francouzskému předsednictví v Radě Evropské unie, během něhož chtěla Francie položit základní kámen společné evropské imigrační politiky - přijmout Evropský migrační a azylový pakt a model Modré karty. První část je věnována vývoji francouzské imigrační politiky a její poslední novele z roku 2006. Jádrem práce je vývoj návrhů Evropského migračního a azylového paktu a modelu Modré karty a jejich možný přínos do budoucna. V závěru práce je francouzské předsednictví zhodnoceno. The aim of the bachelor thesis is the last French Presidency of the Council of the European Union. During this presidency France inteded to lay the basis of a Common European Immigration Policy - to adopt the European Pact on Immigration and Asylum and the Blue Card. The first part is dedicated to the French immigration policy development and to its last revision in 2006. The main part focuses on the development of the European Pact on Immigration and Asylum and the Blue Card proposal and their future contribution to the EU. In the end the evaluation of the French Presidency is presented.
