Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti zkvalitnění činnosti výchovných ústavů v České republice. Teoretická část práce popisuje historický vývoj péče o mravně narušenou mládež na území České republiky, vymezuje pozici výchovných ústavů v systému institucionální výchovy a charakterizuje specifika těchto zařízení. Praktická část práce analyzuje současný stav výchovných ústavů v České republice, věnuje se otázce financování tohoto typu zařízení a jejím jádrem je především analýza některých problémů současného fungování výchovných ústavů a navržení konkrétních opatření k jejich nápravě. Nápravná opatření navržená v práci se týkají zejména sjednocení koncepce reedukace a resocializace, uzákonění vlastní kontrolní a hospitační činnosti v zařízeních, zajištění vyšší odbornosti pedagogických pracovníků výchovných ústavů a zvážení promíjení opatření ve výchově. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl poukázat na nedostatky a nezbytnost změn v současném fungování výchovných ústavů v České republice. The bachelor thesis is focused on work improvement possibilities of reformatories for delinquent children in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the historical development of care for the morally impaired young people in the Czech Republic, defines the position of reformatories for delinquent children in the institutional care system and describes the specifics of these institutions. The practical part analyzes the current state of reformatories for delinquent children in the Czech Republic, deals with the question of financing of these institutions and its basics is mainly the analysis of some particular problems of the current functioning of reformatories for delinquent children and concrete corrective actions. The corrective actions proposed in the thesis concern particularly the standardization of re-education and resocialization, legalization of control and observation activities in the institutions, enhancing the expertise of teaching staff of these institutions and consideration of remission measures in education. The bachelor thesis aims to highlight the deficiencies and the need for changes in the current functioning of reformatories for delinquent children in the Czech Republic.
