[cze][eng] Cílem této diplomové práce je identifikace anglických kulturních standardů z českého pohledu. Kulturní standardy, které nám pomáhají odhalit a pochopit hlavní specifické rysy, normy chování, myšlení a cítění příslušníků anglické národa, jsou v dnešním globalizovaném světě nezbytným předpokladem pro úspěšnou komunikaci s anglickými partnery. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí, a to na teoretickou, praktickou a empirickou. První část je zaměřena na teorii kultury, kulturních dimenzí a standardů. Druhá část práce je věnována základním informacím o Anglii, současné anglické společnosti, anglické kultuře a společenské a obchodní etiketě. Cílem závěrečné, empirické části je přiblížit pohled Čechů na Angličany a odhalit hlavní rozdíly mezi oběma kulturami.The goal of this diploma thesis is to identify English cultural standards from the Czech point of view. In contemporary globalized world, cultural standards, which help us to discover and understand the specific features, norms of behaviour, thinking and feeling of English people, are essential for successful communication with English partners. This thesis is divided into free parts. The theoretical part is focused on theory of culture, cultural dimensions and standards. In the practical part, the attention is paid to basic information about England, contemporary English society, English culture and social and business etiquette. The goal of the last, empirical part is to describe the view of Czech people on English and to reveal the main differences between both cultures.
