Práce popisuje vztahy s veřejností, nejdůležitější komunikační nástroje public relations a věnuje prostor také médiím v České republice. Podrobně rozebírá komunikaci institucí veřejného sektoru, její konkrétní specifika a omezení. Na závěr první části jsou upřesněny rozdíly mezi státní správou a samosprávou a nastoleno téma komunikace pod vlivem politiky. Praktická část analyzuje současné nastavení komunikační strategie městské části Praha 3. Zabývá se konkrétním využitím jednotlivých komunikačních nástrojů a jejich fungováním v praxi. S pomocí odborníků pak v rámci další kapitoly nachází cesty, které vedou k efektivní komunikaci orgánu veřejné správy. Závěrečná část práce na základě mediálního auditu hodnotí celkovou strategii městské části Praha 3 a předává ji doporučení pro její lepší nastavení a efektivní fungování. Master thesis describes public relations, the key communication tools and also devotes space to the media in the Czech Republic. It analyzes in detail the communication of public sector institutions, its specific features and limitations. There are detailed differences between state and local government and debated the communication of politics at the end of the first part. The practical part analyzes the current setting of the communication strategy of the city area Prague 3. It deals with using particular communication tools and their practical application. The next chapter contains PR expert's advices concerning effective public institution communication strategy. The final part evaluates, on the basis of media audit, the overall strategy of city area Prague 3 and passes on the recommendations for a better setup and efficient operation.
