Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá světovým trhem s kakaovými boby. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat světovou produkci a nejvýznamnější producentské země a zachytit hlavní obchodní toky s touto komoditou. Práce je rozdělena do tří vzájemně propojených částí. První kapitola je věnována obecné charakteristice a historii pěstování kakaovníku. Druhá kapitola zachycuje množství produkce v jednotlivých oblastech pěstování v druhé polovině dvacátého století a zároveň pojednává o obchodních vztazích mezi producenty a spotřebiteli. V poslední kapitole je nastíněna problematika fair trade na konkrétním příkladu kakaa This bachelor thesis deals with the world market of cocoa beans. It aims to describe the global cocoa production and the most important producing countries as well as analyze collected data of trade flows with this commodity. The work is divided into three interrelated parts. The first chapter is dedicated to the general characteristic of the cocoa tree and the history of its growing. The second chapter presents the quantity of the production in particular areas of harvesting during the second half of the twentieth century and at the same time it mentions business relations between producers and consumers. The last chapter raises the issue of Fair Trade on the example of cocoa.
