Energie hraje fundamentální roli v ekonomických aktivitách. Ovlivňuje náš každodenní život a týká se každého z nás. Právě z těchto důvodů je nutné zabývat se energetickou situací našeho regionu. Tato práce se zaměřuje konkrétně na ropu jakožto dominantní energetický zdroj a na stav závislosti, pokud jde o využití ropy jako energetického zdroje v Evropě. Ten je klíčovým tématem a hlavním cílem zkoumání této práce. Pozornost je věnována také nastínění možných doporučení pro evropské státy z hlediska teritoriální diverzifikace a popisu spektra možných alternativ k ropě. Energy plays a fundamental role in economic activities. It influences our everyday life and concerns everyone of us. Exactly due to these reasons it is necessary to be concerned with the energetic situation of our region and with the state of dependency related to using oil as an energetic source in Europe. This is the crucial topic and major objective of the research of this work. At the same time the attention is paid to outlining possible recommendations for the European countries considering territorial diversification and reserching the spectrum of potential alternatives to oil.
