Cílem bakalářské práce je vypracování externí finanční analýzy podniku Vodafone Czech Republic a.s. za období 1.4.2006 -- 31.3.2011. V metodologické části jsou definovány použité metody (horizontální a vertikální analýza, bilanční pravidla, poměrová analýza, pyramidální rozklad ROE, pracovní kapitál, ukazatel EVA, bonitní a bankrotní modely). Po této části následuje krátké představení společnosti. Pro analytickou část byly použity účetní závěrky. Součástí práce je porovnání s konkurencí v odvětví telekomunikačních činností (T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., Telefónica Czech Republic, a.s.). The goal of this thesis is to perform external financial analysis of Vodafone Czech Republic a.s. in the period from 1st April 2006 to 31st March 2011. In the methodological part are defined used methods (horizontal and vertical analysis, balance sheet rules, ratio analysis, pyramidal decomposition of ROE, working capital, EVA, creditworthy and bankruptcy models). This section is followed by brief introduction of company. For the analytical part were used financial statements. The thesis also contains comparison with competitors in the telecommunications activities (T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s., Telefónica Czech Republic, a.s.).
