Práce pojednává o vývoji spotřeby českých domácností na dluh, srovnává trend s dalšími zeměmi, hledá příčiny tohoto jevu v teorii spotřeby a vysvětluje možné důsledky pro ekonomiku a obyvatele země v budoucnosti. Popisuje změny ve vývoji finančního sektoru, institucí a jejich produktů. Nalézá odpovědi na příčiny rostoucího tempa zadlužování jednak v transformačních změnách, dále ve změnách vlastnictví finančních institucích, v neposlední řadě v hospodářském vývoji a v posunu myšlení lidí. This paper deals with the trend of household debts and consumption, compares it with other countries, searches for the reasons of this fact in the Theory of consumption and explains possible consequencies for the economy and the households in the future. It describes the changes in the evolution of the financial sector, financial institutions and its products. It commes up with answers to the causes of growing debts for one thing in the transformation changes of the economy , the changes of ownership of financial institututions and at last the adjustments in the economic evolution and the progress of human mind.
