Cílem práce je porovnání vztahů mezi mírou nezaměstnanosti a mírou inflace z pohledu České republiky a dalších čtyř států Evropské unie v časovém horizontu 10 let (1997 - 2007). Srovnání konkrétních dat vývoje míry nezaměstnanosti a míry inflace v těchto státech pomůže potvrdit nebo vyvrátit předpoklad vzájemné závislosti těchto dvou veličin. The aim of my diploma is comparison of relationship between unemployment rate and inflation rate from the point of view of the Czech Republic and other four EU states during last 10 years (1997-2007). The comparison of concrete data of unemployment rate and inflation rate in these states helps to confirm or refuse precondition of mutual dependence of these two parameters.
