Práce by měla popsat současný kreditní systém studia na FM VŠE, analyzovat jeho výhody a nevýhody, porovnat ho s alternativními systémy uplatňovanými na jiných školách. Speciální pozornost by měla být věnována problému, zda hodnota kreditů u jednotlivých předmětů koresponduje s průměrně vynaloženými zdroji (časem, úsilím, výukovými hodinami) typického studenta. V praktické části může být proveden dotazníkový výzkum na vybrané skupině studentů. Cílem práce by měl být návrh na zlepšení současného studijního systému. This research paper describes the current use of ECTS (European Credit and Transfer System) at the Faculty of Management at VSE. It analyzes its advantages and disadvantages as well as comparing it with the alternative educational systems at other post-secondary institutions. A special attention is given to the problem of the effectiveness of ECTS when related to the needs of average student (such as time, effort and course load). A supplemental part of this paper contains the survey of randomly selected students. The main goal of this paper is to propose restructuring and improvements of the current status of the educational system of universities in the Czech Republic.
