Negative impact of Smart Cities on human society

The concept of Smart cities is predicted to be a future model of human dwelling. The main task of this work is to determine the role of Smart City’s key components in order to estimate whether a smart technology always brings comfort and encompasses the area where people feel safe. In my bachelor thesis, I am going to present the concept of Smart City, by analysing and considering different definitions. In addition, it was important to include the chapter dedicated to the history of the term in order to trace its appearance and understand the reasons for the concept invention. Later in the thesis, I add key components and factors that influence the scientific perception of this term, in order to understand the concept Smart Cities and the way of its negative influence. The description of the main disadvantages of the Smart City realisation is presented in last two chapters of my work, where I provide the detailed description of the existing problems, representative examples, and reasons for their occurrence.

Řešení kybernetické bezpečnosti a incident handlingu na FP VUT

Diplomová práce se věnuje návrhu rámce pro řešení kybernetické bezpečnosti ve vybrané organizaci. První část představuje teoretická východiska nutná pro pochopení bezpečnostní situace v ČR a ve světě. Následná kapitola pak obsahuje výsledky analýz současného stavu kyberbezpečnosti v organizaci, pro kterou pak v části třetí sestavuji vhodný pracovní rámec, včetně doporučených nástrojů a postupů k zajištění kvalitního řešení kyberbezpečnosti a její udržitelnosti.

Cyber Security: US - Chinese Relations

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá kybernetickou bezpečností, konkrétně vztahem Spojených států amerických a Čínské lidové republiky v této oblasti. Cílem této práce je odpovědět na následující otázky: Jakou kybernetickou hrozbu představuje Čína pro Spojené státy americké? Jaká je čínská kybernetická strategie? Jak na tuto hrozbu reagují Spojené státy a jaké jsou mezery v jejich reakci? Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá definicí "cyberwarfare" a jeho pojetím v čínském kontextu. Druhá kapitola řeší vztah USA a Číny a jeho dopad na kybernetickou bezpečnost. Třetí kapitola analyzuje reakci USA na čínskou kybernetickou hrozbu.
