Selection of application for project management in small digital firm

The bachelor thesis deals with the selection of a suitable application for project management in a smaller digital firm. In the practical part I worked with the IT firm Query Digital, s. r. o., which is formally classified as micro-enterprise. To achieve the chosen goal, multi-criteria decision making is used and the whole issue is considered a decision-making process. Based on the target group and my own knowledge, I set out the criteria and variants of decision making. Using selected methods, I determined the weight of the criteria and evaluated variants of decision making. The result is Teamgantt.

Innovation of the process of design and solution of information systems for small businesses

This paper is focused on the process of design and implementation of information systems in small businesses and factors that influence this process. The course of the process per-formed by selected company is first mapped and subsequently analysed by means of case studies of real projects implemented by the company. This analysis points to the frequent occurrence of variances of the projects with the mapped process, especially in the analytical part of the process, and major impact of different psychological and sociological char-acteristics of the client or its representatives on the progress of the project. Based on these findings innovative process changes are suggested. The first change is modification of the analytical process to include acquisition of information on the characteristics of the client and to be more adaptable to the nature and scope of the project. The second is categoriza-tion of the client based on the identified characteristics and assessment of these characteris-tics as potential risks of the project. The last change is the adoption of agile approach to the process, allowing greater process flexibility with respect to the needs of specific clients and higher quality outputs.

Cost revitalization of a residential building

This bachelor thesis focuses on the reconstruction costs of the residential houses. The theoretical part describes the management of the construction project, building life cycle and the costs of the each individual stages of the cycle. Furthermore these buildings are described on the basis of the functional parts. In the practical part the thesis focuses on the determination of the realization costs of two residential houses, the durability of individual functional parts and the possibilities of their reconstruction. At the end the budget and schedule are created and the reconstruction is analysed from an economic point of view.

The subject of my bachelor thesis is a description of the process of a bid organisation in a constructing company with using the tools of project management. In this bachelor thesis there is a combination of a theoretical part with a practical part. Both of them are linked together on the presentment of one chosen bid. This bid has been a new building of Zivnostensky dum in Hodonin, which was realised during years 2011 and 2012 by Stavebni firma Plus,s.r.o. ( Building Company Plus, Ltd).

The topic of the bachelor thesis is Organization of Construction Project. In the theoretical part I deal with project management in general. In the practical part, I focused on the elaboration of a feasibility study, which is being processed in the pre-investment phase, and it shows whether the project should be implemented.

Title: Sport event management: Jizerská 50 Goal: The aim of the master thesis is to create proposal and suggestions for the 50th Jizerska 50 and the next upcoming event. Methods: In this thesis was used the qualitative analysis of Jizerska 50 - form of case study, participant observation, semi-structured interview and complemented by the SWOT analysis. Results: The result of master thesis is the set of proposals, which are based on the knowledge and results of Jizerska 50 in previous years and its SWOT analysis. Analysis revealed the possibility of applying new variations for the 50th Jizerska 50 and the next upcoming event. Also suggestions for project management effectiveness, sponsorship and event program.
