The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. This Bachelor thesis deals with a translation of the chapter Die angemessenen Antworten from the book Die Marktwirtschaft des 21. Jahrhunderts by Heiner Flassbeck and includes a commentary on the translation. The commentary concentrates firstly on translation analysis of the source-language text and afterwards on the translation method. The main difficulties of the source-language text and their solutions with respect to the selected translation method are presented in this paper. An inseparable part of the commentary also encompasses an evaluation of the translation shifts created within the translation process.
