Blechová, Barbora ; Stupková, Michaela (advisor) ; Vomáčková, Helena (referee)
Title: The relationship of back pain in show jumping and dressage riders depending on the degree of stability Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the relationship between back pain in show jumping and dressage riders depending on the degree of stability. With the help of computer posturography Neurocom Smart Equitest System. Methods: In my thesis, I used the NeuroCom Smart EquiTest computerized posturograph to record and measure dynamic postural stability. This machine is mainly used to examine functional disorders in the sensory, vestibular and neuromuscular apparatus. The research sample consisted of 20. 10 jumping and 10 dressage riders. They were selected on the basis of a questionnaire sent to riders ranked 100th in the Czech rankings in their discipline in 2022. If they met the criteria, they were included in the project. Probands were aged 18-35 years, practicing horse riding every day for at least the last 10 years. The practical measurement took place in November 2023 in the Kinesiology Laboratory of the Department of Physiotherapy at FTVS UK. Each proband underwent seven consecutive tests. And only in the following order - Test of organization Sensors, Test of motor control, Test of adaptation, One-sided stance, Limits of stability, Rhythmic shift of weight, Test of squat...

Title: Asymmetric strength training and its effect on the deep stabilization system Objectives: Comparison of the effect of asymmetric strength training on the deep stabilization system versus symmetrical strength training. Methods: Before and after the research, all subjects underwent tests focused on the deep stabilization system. They were tested by a physiotherapist. Were used tests from prof. Pavel Kolar (diaphragm test, abdominal press test, trunk flexion test, extension test, hip flexion test and intra-abdominal pressure test). Furthermore, tests were performed with the Pressure Biofeedback Unit (supine test, prone test). Results: We noted that the group that performed asymmetric strength training achieved a greater improvement in HSS than the group that performed symmetrical strength training. Key words: softball, asymmetry, strength training, deep stabilization system, offset training
Možnosti ovlivnění postury pomocí systému Marrko Core
HAJNÁ, Daniela
This bachelor thesis focuses on the new Marrko Core exercise equipment, which uses centrifugal force to strengthen the entire body. The aim was to find out what effect exercising with the Marrko Core will have on the overall posture of probands. The research population consisted of five probands who occasionally suffer from back pain. Changes in posture were noted in the head, shoulder joints, shoulder blades, lumbar lordosis and pelvis after two months of exercise with the Marrko Core. In all probands, there was a strengthening of the deep stabilization system of the spine, less involvement of muscles compensating for HSSP insufficiency and involvement of the HSSP even during normal daily activities. Using the modified Véle test, an improvement in total body stability was found.

Analysis and possibilities of therapy of postural functions in long jumpers
NIKODEMOVÁ, Nela
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and possibilities of therapy of postural functions in long jumpers. The aim of this thesis is to describe the issues of movement stereotypes and postural system occurring among long jumpers. Another aim is to design and implement compensatory exercises with the aim of therapy of these disorders. In the theoretical part, the concept of postural stability and related concepts are explained. Then, the postural system and the anatomy of the lower limb are briefly described. Last but not least, the long jump, its history, technique and training of this discipline are described. Furthermore, the most common disorders of the postural system and the physiotherapeutic procedures used in the therapy are mentioned. In the practical part, the methods used to collect data are described. Furthermore, the practical part consists of case studies of three probands aged 14 and 15 years who are actively involved in long jump. Each proband underwent an initial kinesiological examination, according to which a short-term rehabilitation plan was designed. The research was conducted over a 10week period in which each proband completed 10 therapy sessions. At the end of the research, probands underwent an exit kinesiology examination. I compared the results from both examinations with each other. The data collected was then used to create a manual summarizing recommended compensatory exercises for long jumpers. The examinations revealed certain areas where probands consistently had similar pathologies. These areas included the shoulder girdle, pelvis, thoracic and lumbar spine, anterior and posterior thigh muscles, knees and ankle joints. Insufficiency of the deep stabilization system also proved to be a very common pathology. The probands also showed some differences between the rebounding and non-rebounding lower limb. This work can serve both physiotherapists in their work with these athletes or coaches and athletes themselves as educational material.
Možnosti fyzioterapie funkčních poruch pohybového aparátu při vybraném bojovém sportu - taekwondo
PRÁŠILOVÁ, Zuzana
The topic of this bachelor thesis is functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system in athletes involved in the sport of taekwondo and subsequently the possibilities of therapy of these disorders. Taekwondo is classified as a full-contact combat sport. Due to the full-contact nature of this sport and the nature of the training, the risk of both structural and functional disorders must be considered, which are much more common. This is mainly caused by frequent and also prolonged overloading associated with incorrect movement stereotypes. a significant role is represented by the involvement of the deep stabilization system during movement activity and muscle looping. In the field of functional musculoskeletal disorders located in the joints, hypermobility caused by the need to maximise the range of the lower limbs is of the greatest importance. These disturbances manifest themselves in the form of trigger points, tender points, hyperalgesic skin zones, muscle spasms and functional blockages. The physiotherapy options for these disorders are very diverse. Here I have described the soft tissue techniques that are very commonly used, breathing rehabilitation, postisometric relaxation, and follow-up self-therapy. Physical therapy is also mentioned, but not used in this paper, although it is commonly included in the treatment of functional disorders. The practical part of the thesis consists of three case studies in the form of qualitative research. all probands are female, aged between 15 and 27 years. Each of them has been involved in the sport of taekwondo for a long time and competitively. a total of ten sessions were conducted between January 2022 and March 2022. Each proband underwent an initial and an exit examination and two posturograph examinations three months apart. In addition, the thesis includes a designed practice unit for the probands, which serves as material for home practice.
Sledování posturálních a respiračních funkcí u pacientů se skoliózou
PEVNÁ, Veronika
The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, namely the theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with a description of the kinesiology of the spine, defining the term scoliosis and classification of scoliosis, focuses on respiratory function, deep stabilization system, and its connection with respiratory and postural functions. At the end of the theoretical part, respiratory physiotherapy and its individual methods are described, which are widely used in patients with scoliosis. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the treatment options for patients with scoliosis, which was fulfilled in the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis, and in the form of case studies to describe therapeutic procedures affecting postural and respiratory functions in specific patients. The practical part of the bachelor´s thesis is conducted in the form of qualitative research, because the research sample consists of three adult patients who were diagnosed with the scoliosis. The sub-targets are verified through individual therapies lasting between two and three months, during which postural and respiratory functions in specific patients are monitored. The results of the survey are recorded in a brief evaluation of the effectiveness of the therapy. The bachelor thesis can be used by physiotherapists as an inspiration for therapeutic procedures in individual patients, or it can serve as educational material for the general public, who would like to learn more about the topic of scoliosis or methods used in the treatment of scoliosis.

Possibilities of physiotherapy at lumbar spine pain at the people with sedentary employment.
ŠIMKOVÁ, Vendula
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of physiotherapy for people with sedentary jobs who suffer with pain in lumbar spine region. The lumbar spine region is one of the most loaded part of the spine, because there is a transfer of movement from lower limbs to the torso. The sedentary lifestyle and lack of the movement are very serious problems which affect the modern society and bring many potential risks, which have on the human body. The aim of this work was to describe the negative factors causing lumbar spine pain during sedentary work, to define shortened and weakened muscle groups related to lumbar spine pain and to create an exercise session which will relieve the low back pain in sedentary work. The practical part was performed in the form of qualitative research. The research group consisted of 4 people with sedentary jobs, who also have pain in the lumbar spine area. At the first visit, I acquainted the probands with the schedule and content of therapy and then I took an anamnesis and performed an initial kinesiological analysis. The exercise session was consisted of drills to activate the correct breathing pattern, movements from deep stabilization system, exercises from dynamic neuromuscular stabilization, the Moses method, the McKenzie method and relaxation techniques. The therapy was performed for 3 months. At the end I processed a final kinesiological analysis. The results of the research showed that the biggest changes occurred in the testing of shortened muscles, especially the flexors of the hip joint, and the pain in the lumbar spine was relieved.
The options of physiotherapy in cross country skiing
KREUZIGEROVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis is focused on options of physiotherapy in cross country skiing. In case of a right therapy there will be a better using of a human musculoskeletal system - so the movement in the technique could get more economical, the regeneration may get better and so may the respiratory system, and thats how the performance achieves higher. The first aim of this thesis was to sum up all the techniques which cross country skiing involves, the second then to subsribe methods of the physiotherapy in this sport. The third basic aim of this thesis was to come up with an exercice unite portable to the training and consider its influence on the performance. This thesis consists of 2 parts. The first one, theoretical, is focused on describing techniques of cross country skiing, and other chapters specify the deep stabilization system and cover anatomy of the most overstrained muscles in this sport hand in hand with methods, aids, which may be use for the therapy of the DSS and affiliated muscles. The second, practical part, is processed in the form of qualitative research and includes examination of 5 probands in the age group 18 - 23, who do this sport on the profesional level. After the initial examination, a similar physiotherapy unite will be suggest. To confirm the right effects of the therapy, 4 months the racers, coaches and myself will observe its benefits to the training. A kinesiology analyses will ensue. A conclusion of the thesis consist of the final results, which came after the physiotherapy mentioned in the practical part. The exercise unite is comprised, which racers/probands brought to the training easily. The thesis could be used for a clinical work of the physiotherapist, for coaches of cross country skiing, or, for the group of people interested in cross country skiing, as an educational material.
