Financial health of the agricultural enterprise

This thesis deals with the topic of financial health of an agricultural company. The literature review describes financial analysis as a tool for its assessment. Furthermore, it introduces the sources, users, and basic methods of financial analysis, including absolute indicators, differential indicators, ratio indicators, and notably specific methods such as creditworthiness and bankruptcy models. In the analytical part, a financial analysis of the key indicators of the selected agricultural company is conducted. Subsequently, the results of the financial analysis are utilized in predictive models, the outcomes of which, based on comparisons with industry averages, lead us to the answer regarding the financial health of the enterprise.
Bankruptcy prediction modelling in the environment of V4 countries

This diploma thesis is focused on the construction of a new bankruptcy model designed for small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction industry in the environment of the Visegrad Four countries. The first part of the thesis is focused on defining the concepts of bankruptcy, bankruptcy model and their placement in the historical context, followed by a description of selected bankruptcy models, a brief description of the construction industry and an analysis of constuction sector. In the practical part, the reliability of selected bankruptcy models is tested and then a new bankruptcy model is constructed.

This thesis examines part of financial analysis focused on financial risks arising from the results of the financial analysis. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of financial analysis, including formulas necessary for the analytical part of the work. Further defines the terms relating to the areas of risk, risk analysis and risk reduction methods. The analytical part is concerned with the present state of the selected company. The final section contains suggestions for improving the financing and stabilization of the company.

Představení společnosti a její popis následuje v další kapitole. Ve třetí části práce jsou ziskané teoretivké vědomosti prakticky aplikovány. V závěru jsou zpracovány návrhy a doporučení směřující ke zlepšení finanční situace vybrané společnosti.
Bankruptcy Prediction Modelling in the Manufacturing Industry

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of bankruptcy prediction of small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the manufacturing industry in selected Central European countries. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concepts related to the prediction of bankruptcy and methods of model creation. The analytical part of the work includes testing the accuracy of selected bankruptcy model by other authors and creating a new bankruptcy model. The accuracy of the newly created model is then compared with the accuracy of selected models by other authors.

This diploma thesis is focused on the evaluation of the efficiency of selected bankruptcy models in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part the basic terminology and methodology of bankruptcy models creation are introduced. In addition are mentioned, model constraints, an overview of the indicators used, and information about model accuracy. This part also presents analyzed models and methods of assessing the reliability of bankruptcy models. In the practical part, the reliability of selected bankruptcy models is evaluated and a new bankruptcy model is built.

In the theoretical part, the concept of bankruptcy model is defined; this part is focused on the inclusion of bankruptcy models in economics, a look into their history, a description of selected models and a brief characteristic of the construction industry. In the practical part, the reliability of selected bankruptcy models is counted and a new bankruptcy model is built.

Here is explained the concept of bankruptcy, its origin and history, the definition of financial analysis and its methods. This section also describes a description of selected bankruptcy models and their limited reporting ability. In the practical part, the reliability of selected models is first evaluated and subsequently changes are proposed to improve reliability

Bachelor’s thesis describes issues of bankruptcy risk. It fleshes out key concepts related to bankrupt, introduces financial analysis like a instrument of evaluation enterprise financial situation and specifically deals with prediction bankruptcy models. Metodology of model construction is introduced and ROC curves as an efficiency testing method. Case study makes evaluation of accuracy for five chosen models in sector small and medium enterprises manufacturing industry of central and eastern Europe. Concluding part narrates possibility modification of models for accuracy increase.
