Tvorba pracovních listů do předmětu Chov zvířat pro SŠ zemědělského zaměření
Matoušková, Anna
The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of worksheets and their use in education in agricultural subjects. Creating worksheets is a time-consuming activity, but their use brings many positives. This bachelor thesis points out their usability in a specific subject animal husbandry. The theoretical part briefly defines the subject of animal husbandry and material teaching aids that can be used in it. It summarizes the basic characteristics of worksheets, their conditions, types of questions and learning tasks and the possibility of use in teaching. The practical part presents the possibilities of using worksheets for students and methodological sheets for teachers related to the subject animal husbandry. The thesis presents 3 worksheets for students, methodical sheets and correct worksheet completion for teachers, as an example of possible variable usage, compilation and structure across the subject according to the needs of teachers and students.
Meat production and husbandary in developing and developed countries and its environmental impacts
Šenfeldová, Štěpánka ; Frouz, Jan (advisor) ; Matějíček, Luboš (referee)
Although animal husbandry is vitally important to most of us, it's impacts on nature are alarming. In this work I deal with the environmental impacts of keeping farm animals, in particular in the area of their impact on global climate change, soil contamination and pollution, atmospheric emissions, water management and the impact of animal husbandry on biodiversity. I also ask whether the impacts of animal husbandry differ in developed and developing regions of the world and look at future trends in animal husbandry. Meat consumption is rising significantly in developing countries, whereas in developed countries its production is, if anything, stagnant. The means of production differ fundamentally. The predominant form of production in the developed countries is intensive, which is primarily characterised by high concentration of the kept animals in halls and large production of manure, increased utility of animals and associated reduction in their numbers. The predominant form of production in developing countries is extensive, which is associated with increasing the numbers of animals, in particular by grazing. Keeping animals outside on pasture has a negative impacts on natural stands and the erosion process. A global reduction in meat consumption and the utilisation of new alternative...

Belavá, Barbora ; Frank Danielisová, Alžběta (advisor) ; Pokorný, Petr (referee)
This Master thesis is dedicated to pasture and the overall image of animal husbandry in Central Europe in La Téne Period and Roman Age. An important part is evaluation of osteological assemblages grazed animals, the question of the spectrum of species and creating models applied in the territory of today's Czech republic. A meaningful component of this study is comparison farmed animals at the time of La Téne and Roman period. Archaeozoology of Klementinum in Prague
Burian, Martin ; Kovačiková, Lenka (advisor) ; Kyselý, René (referee)
Diploma thesis Archaeozoology Klementinum in Prague studies the archaeozoological remains from the Klementinum in Prague dated between the late 11th and 15th century. The work is divided into two parts - the theoretical and the empirical part. The theoretical part focuses on the economic background of the medieval city and nutrition of its inhabitants. Other chapters focus on the historical context of Klementinum and characteristics of the archaeological research, which took place on its territory in 2012 - 2014. The research consists of material and methods and subsequent evaluation of the obtained data, which are discussed and compared with literature. The aim of this diploma thesis is to bring interpretation of human diet of people whom lived at the site of today's Klementinum in Prague, in different time periods (from the beginning of the peak to the late Middle Ages) through the analysis of animal bones. In conclusion this diploma thesis found the economic base of the territory and which animals have been consumed on the site. In different periods was observed increasing richness of species for documented animals. Also there was discussed the impact of arrival of the Dominican convent on the breding economy after a year 1232nd.
Transfer of genetic potential for reproduction in sows production sector
NÝVLT, Vladimír
The purpose of this thesis was to describe the transfer of genetic potential of sows in production sphere and evaluate concrete results in reproduction breeding sows Agricultural Society Kosova Hora. On large-scale farrowing sows were evaluated Doublovičky basic herd of sows, which consisted of 440 to 520 pieces. sows. The basic herd always has been about 35 nucleic sows (P 1065). The rest of the herd was an offspring of hybrids F1 (C 1023) program the PIC. The sows P 1065 were investigated causes selecting progeny namely: 1) For lack of development, which was evaluated from birth to breeding gilts adulthood. 2) The number and formation of the teats. For breeding were required to at least 12. They can not be crater, but well formed to have good piglets suck breast milk from them. 3) Reproduction in gilts were evaluated after conception periodic (cyclic) heat. The minimum requirement for the first 8 piglets which are born alive. For the basic herd was evaluated the age structure. It was incorporated into three groups and evaluated that, the largest selection of sows was for lack of milk production, limb injuries, poor breeding condition and the possibility of further embedding. The largest selection of sows takes place after the third to fifth lactation.
Accounting of livestock, link to the real situation
NÝVLTOVÁ, Kristýna
The aim of this work was to analyse the current legislation, to compare the legislation with the needs of practice and then to propose measures that would lead to a better explanatory power and comparability of accounting firms engaged in animal husbandry. In the theoretical part, there was analysed current legislation relating to the accounting of animals in comparison with the needs of practice, there were described the differences between the Czech law, international accounting standards IAS IFRS and American standards US GAAP. In the second part, I calculated the differences arising from the valuation of animals at the acquisition by purchase and at by their own activities and the differences arising from the inclusion of the animal. This section also addressed other issues such as the obligation to classify animals into inventory, the conception of an animal, or the choice of accounting system.
Animal husbandry - comparison of IFRS standard with legal regulation of the

Comparison of accounting concept of animal husbandry according to IAS 41 - Agriculture and Czech Accounting Standards in terms of valuation, accounting records, classification and reporting of biological assets. Practical usage of fair value as a mean of valuation decreased by estimated costs to sell and evaluation of classification according to IAS 41 requirements in case of particular agriculture organization.
Archaeozoology of the Neolithic of Bohemia
KOVAČIKOVÁ, Lenka
An archaeozoological analysis of the assemblages of animal bones and teeth of Neolithic (Linear and Stroked Pottery cultures; approx. 5500-4200 BC)settlements in Bohemia, provide new elements on the way of life of early farmers. By means of study of animal bones and teeth we can specify the role of domestic and hunting animals in the Neolithic economy, define the herd management strategies for main domestic animals and focus on the environmental reconstruction and investigation of births distribution of domestic animals (for exemple of cattle in the case of this study) through the analysis of the carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions of fossil tooth enamel bioapatite. To achieve these objectives, we can use, except standard archaeozoological methods and stable isotope analysis, more specific procedures, e.g. determination of damaged bones of animals using the ELISA test.
