3D Printer Remake
Čtvrtníček, Jan ; Husák, Michal (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
Purpose of this thesis is revitalize an existing 3D printer. It briefly summarizes the possible technologies of 3D printers with a focus on FDM technology and elaborates in more depth the possibilities of X and Y axis movement. Above all, this thesis is dedicated to the design of a 3D printer model according to selected technologies so that it meets the required parameters. Subsequent implementation is based on the precise selection of mechanical and electrical components. It also deals with the implementation of the Klipper utility software on the OctoPrint interface. The entire printer is designed as an enclosable cell with automatic print unloading.
Remote control of 3D printer
Kajzr, Miroslav ; Jaššo, Kamil (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
The essence of this work is to summarize the knowledge about 3D printing, especially with FDM technologies. Create an overview of used FDM printing materials, identify their advantages and disadvantages, technical parameters and usability. Another purpose of the thesis is to examine the print quality and its problems and specify types of surface finishes for selected materials. The content also includes remote control and monitoring of the 3D print process using the Raspberry Pi microcomputer and the print server named Octoprint.
Data collection from 3D printer
Fiala, Jan ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This work is dedicated to design and implementation of a funcitonal model for data processing from 3D printer using sensors in IoT concept. Measured data will be processed and transfered to basic units with connection to the cloud server for any ongoing work. Part of this work is selection of suitable sensors and system members, creation of a functional model of data transfer and its implementation on a 3D printer.

Development of a mobile application for controlling a 3D printer using a single-board computer
LIŠKOVÁ, Markéta
The aim of this diploma work is to develop a mobile application for controlling printing on a 3D printer. The theoretical part of the diploma work presents a brief description of the FDM printing technology, process of designing a prototype of an application, communication interfaces, mobile application architecture and editors for an application development, distribution of applications. The application was developed for a platform iOS in a native programing language Swift. The communication between a 3D printer and the application is held by OctoPrint's API. The basic features of the application are webcam streaming, temperature control, printing time control and an option to pause or cancel the printing of a model. At the end of this paper is presented user feedback and some suggestions for improvement.
