Snake Robot Design
Hubatka, Šimon ; Miškařík, Kamil (referee) ; Matoušek, Radomil (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with design of snake-like robot for planar motion platform. Thesis is divided into two sections. The first part briefly presents basic movements of biological snake, which is followed by a chapter with snake-like robots divided into categories according to the type of their design including characteristics of examples. Design of the robotic snake is described in the second part.
Construction and production of the floorball stick blade using Fused Deposition Modeling
Jelínek, Vít ; Dvořáček, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This work combines 3D printing technology (Rapid Prototyping) with the sports industry. Using mentioned modern technology was made functional model blade floorball stick, which originated in the engineering design 3D parametric software Autodesk Inventor. Work will explain the history of floorball and individual methods increasingly popular and more affordable 3D printing, through which could be modeled blade floorball stick. Conclusion contains techno-economic evaluation, where will be disclosed the pros and cons of the use of Rapid Prototyping technology in this sports industry.

Zbožínek, Štěpán ; Dvořáková, Martina (referee) ; Bayerová, Vladimíra (advisor)
Object of the bachelor thesis is creating the bussines plan in the field of manufacturing kiosks and containers, that are created by additive concrete printing. It investigates the possibility of doing business by this new technology. It evaluates suitability of business plan of the point of view financial and market conditions
Production of working replacement part for atypical fan on 3D FDM printer
Řezníček, Vojtěch ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The main topic of this bachelor thesis is production of a spare part of an atypical fan, which is created by FDM. The thesis includes a functional testing and noise measurement. The whole process is running in several stages. From the measurement, design, production in a 3D visualization system to the method of production and manufacturing. The thesis conclusion will be focused on a summary of its own production process.
Production of a Jig Using Rapid Prototyping Technology
Růžička, Jan ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design, modeling and manufacturing of complex shaped parts using modern additive technology Rapid Prototyping. The theoretical basis of the work is involved in Rapid Prototyping and CAD systems and their technology, terminology and basic terms. The analytical part is dedicated to the implementation of the design – construction of the model in parametrical software SolidWorks followed with a creation of the part using 3D printer uPrint working on Fused Deposition Modeling method. Conclusion of this work compares this method with CNC machining and evaluates which method is more efficient and more economical.
Industrial robotic arm model
Sobota, David ; Kazda, Tomáš (referee) ; Vyroubal, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with problematics if industrial robotic arms, with theirs constructions, controling and with theirs role in Industry 4.0. Work describes the process of development and realization of the industrial robotic arm model by 3D printing. Besides construction fo model, work deals with firmware, software and inversion kinematics crucial to controling. Model of robotic arm will be used as learning tool.
Proposal and Implementation of Production of Dental Plate Construction
Dusbaba, Michal ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with a CAD programmed construction design of dental prosthetics and its subsequent production by means of a five axis machine tool. In the theoretical part of the thesis one can find characteristics and analysis of materials designed for a production of dental prosthetics constructions. Among other things, the practical part of the thesis follows up digitization of a patient´s oral cavity part with the use of Trios intraoral scanner representing the latest scanning technology. The obtained data created a basis for a design of the respective dental prosthetics construction using the shape dental system programme called DentalDesigner 2015. Furthermore, the paper deals with a production of a dental prosthetics construction by means of a five axis machine tool and pursues completion works which resulted in the prosthetics final shape. The paper is concluded with discussion comprising a summary of results acquired in the practical part beginning from dental implant introduction to insertion of the made prosthetics construction into the patient´s oral cavity.
Construction and production of 3D optical scanner
Běhůnek, David ; Zouhar, Jan (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on an optical method for 3D scanning. There is selected photogrammetry for creating 3D models. In the practical part, a mechanism for automatic photo capture is designed and manufactured and 3D printed with using a digital camera, Arduino microcontroller and stepper motors. There are proposed two methods of capturing photographs with which digital twins of reference objects are created. The result of the work is a functional 3D scanner. The next are evaluated used methods as well as the production costs and the time required by the operator when creating a digital copy of the object is listed.
Study of Thermal Properties of Materials for 3D Printing
Lapčíková, Tereza ; Menčík, Přemysl (referee) ; Zmeškal, Oldřich (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to study thermal properties of materials used for 3D printing (so-called filaments), especially a polylactic acid (PLA). Within the theoretical part there was performed the literature review focused on the description of different methods of 3D printing including the summary of suitable materials for these technologies. In particular, we focused on the preparation of PLA, its summarization of its chemical, physical and thermal properties and its practical use in 3D additive printing manufacturing, e.g. in biomedical applications. In the experimental part, PLA samples of different thicknesses were prepared by 3D printing technique and thermal properties such as thermal capacity and thermal conductivity were determined. It was found that thermal conductivity of studied material was 0,128 W/m/K and specific heat capacity 1335 J/kg/K. These values corresponded to the once given in the literature.
Evaluation of machinability of a 3D printed material
Krestová, Alžběta ; Chladil, Josef (referee) ; Kolomý, Štěpán (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis was to evaluate the machinability of 3D printed material by Bound Metal Deposition method under different conditions during milling. The forces during machining were measured and the surface roughness and the resulting wear on the tool were also investigated. The values were recorded and further evaluated, where the results were compared and recommendations were made as to the conditions under which low values of wear are produced. The result was that lower wear values are achieved when machining without cooling and at low cutting speed and feed rate.
