Python Imaging Library
Mágr, Martin ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Vyskočil, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is engaged in concept and implementation of graph editor, which is connected with concrete information system using protocol XML-RPC. The application is created using programming language Python and its graphic library Python Imaging Library. Graphic user interface is realized by GTK+ or more precisely by PyGTK, its application program interface for Python.
Graphic Engine with Scripting Support
Pol, Leoš ; Švub, Miroslav (referee) ; Vyskočil, Michal (advisor)
The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to propose solution for a cross connection between specific graphic engine and a skripting language. Implementation this proposal into a demo application and present further continuing of this project.
Scientific Web Portal Generator
Kundrát, Miloš ; Vyskočil, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Scientific web portal generátor. The entire project, whose part this dissertation is, consists of the users interface GUI, the processes' communication, the softwares communication with a user and of the script for automatic parsering the selected entity by a method of extraction the semantic information from the marked text. The last-named part is a main content of my dissertation. The dissertations objective is a script (prototype), which returns on the basis of an input XML file with names of research workers, an output XML file with URL home pages' addresses and pages' addresses with a list of publications. Great deal of my dissertation will be devoted to the first-rate test datas assembly and in the end to the profound static analysis of the resulting scripts behaviour, which I have programed. This part will survey us about the percentage fruitfulness and about the rate of the designed script. The script will be prepared for the integration into the common project.
Bridge between GLUT and Graphical User Interface Library
Friesse, Jan ; Smrž, Pavel (referee) ; Vyskočil, Michal (advisor)
This document describes a major problems with creating 3D applications in a graphic library named OpenGL. There are some basic informations about a GLUT library including main advantages and disadvantages and a description of alternative implementations of a GLUT API. Further content is focused on the most familiar graphic libraries for creating user interfaces which should be used to develop the OpenGL applications and with their advantages and disadvantages too. The next part describes a draft of a new GLUT API implementation based on the selected user interface library. Major part of thesis is about implementation of GtkGLUT library. Reader can find this implementation on CD. Last part describes future development plans.
Doom-Style Game
Rakus, Roman ; Vyskočil, Michal (referee) ; Pečiva, Jan (advisor)
Usage of effects in computer games is huge. Emphasis is put on the nicest pictures for the lowest price. The newest graphical adapters and technologies are used. In this thesis is described and implemented procedure how to create some effects such as particle systems, per-pixel lighting, normal bump mapping and fake volumetric lines with usage of OpenSceneGraph, shaders and others.
Multi-Dimensional Data Vizualization
Jambor, Marek ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vyskočil, Michal (advisor)
This work deals with the problems connected to the visualization n-Dimensional data, where n>3, includes the retrieval of elementary methods, incl.field possibilities of an application. Further this work deals with problems connected to the projection and implementation of the module of visualization of n-dimensional data. Implementation was applied in programming environment Java with upgrade Java 3D.
Scientific Web Portal Generator
Růžička, Štěpán ; Vyskočil, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
In this document I am talking about dynamic web application, which I am making via Ruby on Rails, XML, MySQL and AJAX technology. Introduce describes, why I have chosen this job, and what you can find in this document. Next part is about Ruby on Rails and XML, where I am describing how to use REXML library and what it offers to you. There are some examples to better understanding that. Continuing with describing libraries, which can offer dynamic, sound and some other effects. Prototype and script.aculo.us are described there and some examples as well. Semifinal chapter is about Web portal generator in general at first and next about single steps when I was working on my application. In last one chapter I am trying to look on my application from user's point of view. I am describing the way, how I tried to make application better for usual user. I joined some reactions from persons who had the opportunity to work with my application. Document terminates by resume of gained experiences.
Management System of the Scientific Web Portal Generator
Horák, Jan ; Vyskočil, Michal (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
This BSc Thesis analyses possible ways to control distributed computations, describes analysis, conceptual design and implementation of the Management system of the scientific web portal generator. The management system connects other parts of application, allows users to control long-running computations and to change its priorities.
Image Processing Algorithms Optimization Using C++ Templates
Čepl, Radek ; Vyskočil, Michal (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis deals with image processing algorithm AdaBoost optimalization using C++ templates. Head aim of this thesis is effective evaluation of Haar Features with constant size. It also compares speed of feature detection on classical and template evaluation. The computer programme was written in C++ programming language using OpenCV graphic library and TinyXML library. Application was created and tested under Windows XP operating system.
Minimalistic Reprezentation of the Božetěchova Complex
Rosa, Štěpán ; Pečiva, Jan (referee) ; Vyskočil, Michal (advisor)
This work concerns about creation and display minimalistic model of the Božetěchova Complex implemented in the programming language C using graphical libraries OpenGL and GLUT. In the introduction of this thesis is theoretical base, that led to making this issue. The following chapters describe implemented model and the way of its creation.
