Industrial PID controller with autotuning and visualisation
Vávra, Pavel ; Dvořáček, Martin (referee) ; Pivoňka, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with implementation of industrial used controlling block into Power Panel equipment of B&R in integrated development environment Automation Studio 3.0.71. It is PID controller with autotuner and visualization, which allowed bumpless transfer among controlling algorithms and manual control. PID and I-PD controllers with filtering of derivative action and dynamic antiwindup were implemented. Parameters of PID controller is possible to tune with the aid of ultimate gain and ultimate period according rules of Ziegler-Nichols. Ultimate parameters of controlled plant is possible to acquire with the aid of two identification methods, recursive least squares method and relay feedback. Recursive least squares method was implemented with directional forgetting. For relay feedback were used two types of relays: ideal and saturation relay for improving accuracy of searched ultimate values. The whole solution is programmed in ANSI C which Automation Studio supports. Created controller is control with the aid of touchscreen which is integrated in Power Panel. Trends of process values are viewed on the screen too. For comparison adaptive controller by B&R was implemented. This contoller is standardly supplied with Automation Studio in LoopConR library. All created algorithms were first validated on mathematical model of plant and then on real model in laboratory. The first part of thesis deals with theoretic analysis of used methods. The practical realization is described in the second part of this diploma thesis.
Signal Analysis
Vávra, Pavel ; Keprt, Jiří (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with problem of analysis signal acquiring measurement of uniformity motion harmonic drive and planetary gearboxes. In introduction part are explain some features of FFT and concept of cepstrum. Further is present overview of most often measured parameters of these gearboxes and needed formulas, which express connections among particular mechanical parts of gearboxes. The next part deals with description of SW program unit generated in LabView environment, which is output product of work and makes analysis on measured courses.
Proposal for the expansion of the manufacturing process of paint coating material at Sherwin - Williams Czech Republic company
Vávra, Pavel ; Navrátil, Petr (referee) ; Kubík, Roman (advisor)
This master´s thesis is aimed at the analyse of the production of lacquers and paints and at its expansion in the Sherwin-Williams Czech republic company. At first particular activities of the company are presented and then several variants of the expansion are suggested, among them belongs the implementation of the operation in shifts, the modernization of equipment and the increase in the number of workers. After the exploration of influences of these variants on logistic processes and the exploration of related costs and merits the modernization is chosen as the optimal variant for the expected level of the demand.

Support of software quality management in a small company
Vávra, Pavel ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Jonáš, Zdeněk (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to create a proposal of framework which can be used to support software quality management in a small development company. Framework is composed of processes, methodologies and tools which together should improve the quality of software products of a company. Concrete implementation of the framework is shown as a case study. Data for the case study were collected in the company Cleverbee, where the author worked during the case study's creation. Personal contribution of the author of the thesis is firstly the creation of the framework concept based on author's experiences and commented list of concrete results of framework's implementation. The detailed goal setting for this thesis and the definition of the target reader can be found in the chapter 1. Introduction. The definition of main terms, which will appear in the rest of the thesis, is contained in the chapter 2. Terms. Chapter 3. Software quality and its definition is explains the term "software quality" and the nature of the small companies. Chapter 4. Software quality management forms the theoretical foundation of the thesis. In this chapter you find how the methodologies RUP and CMMI view the software quality. Chapter 5. Framework concept contains the concept of the software quality management framework. Framework is based upon relevant sources and also author's personal experience. The chapter 6. Case study describes the concrete example of the implementation of the proposed framework. The case study also contains descriptions of the used software tools. The chapter 7. Conclusion contains the brief resume of the findings of the thesis.
