Melancholy in the poetry of Antonín Sova
Urbanová, Martina ; Vojvodík, Josef (advisor) ; Vaněk, Václav (referee)
The main theme of this thesis is a literary motive of melancholy in the poetry of a Czech poet Antonín Sova. The end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century we can consider as a specifically melancholic and it is possible to see it especially in pieces of writing of many authors. The rare situation happened in the Czech lands. The Czechs were ready to deal with new issues, but their expectation did not come true. The frustration of all the situation is noticeable mainly in works of Czech decadents, but we can also see it in the poetry of Antonín Sova. It is obvious in his Vybouřené smutky and then in Ještě jednou se vrátíme... which follows and we chose it as a basic text for our interpretation of melancholic motive in Sova's poetry. It was published in time of culminating expectations of some changes in the field of social situation, which was becoming unbearable. It is impossible to omit melancholic feeling in Ještě jednou se vrátíme..., but it is somehow modified, especially in his lyric poetry, which does not sound unambiguously tragical, but on the contrary it offers particular hopes. For the purpose of getting to know the motive of melancholy we researched a concept of melancholy during its history. It enabled us to point out some typical features of melancholy like e. g. involvement in the...
Development of HPLC method for the determination of 6-gingerol, capsaicin, 8-gingerol, 6-shogaol and 10 gingerol in Zingiber officinale samples

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Martina Urbanová Supervisor: PharmDr. Lucie Havlíková, Ph.D. Title of Diploma Thesis: Development of an HPLC method for the determination of 6-gingerol, capsaicin, 8-gingerol, 6-shogaol and 10-gingerol in Zingiber officinale samples The diploma thesis was focused on the development of an HPLC method for the determination of 6-gingerol, capsaicin, 8-gingerol, 6-shogaol and 10-gingerol in Zingiber officinale samples. At first, freshly prepared rhizome samples of ginger were selected. Afterwards, levels of analytes in model dried ginger powder samples were evaluated. 6-gingerol had always showed highest response in both fresh rhizome samples of ginger and dried ginger powder samples. Capsaicin has not been found in any sample. 6-shogaol has only been found in dried ginger powder samples. Extraction of other substances depended on the methodology of preparation of particular samples. During the optimization of this method, various mobile and stationary phases were examined. The suitable mobile phase was composed of acetonitrile and water in 50/50 (v/v) ratio. Ascentis® Express Phenyl-Hexyl analytical column (100 x 4.6 mm; 2.7 µm) was chosen as a stationary phase for analysis, which was also...
Dispersive Solid-Phase Extraction for the Analysis of Chosen Substances in Zingiber officinale

Charles University in Prague Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Analytical Chemistry Candidate: Mgr. Martina Urbanová Consultant: PharmDr. Lucie Chocholoušová Havlíková, Ph.D. Thesis Title: Dispersive Solid-Phase Extraction for the Analysis of Chosen Substances in Zingiber officinale The thesis was focused on the development of optimal extraction method for the analysis of chosen substances contained in Zingiber officinale. Some representative samples containing extracts of Zingiber officinale were chosen. This method was based on the diploma thesis of Martina Urbanová [1]. To get a higher preconcentration factor, dispersive solid-phase extraction (dSPE) was tested for the sample pretreatment. Then, a method of supported liquid extraction (SLE) was examined as another methodology for the sample preparation. Chosen substances, 6-gingerol, 8-gingerol, 6-shogaol and 10-gingerol, were found in almost all samples. Among syrups, the largest amount of substances was contained in the Kitl syrup (preparation with cold water). Among teas, the highest number of substances was contained in Fruit-herbal tea flavored with ginger and lemon. 6-Shogaol was not found in rhizome samples, however, it has been found in the samples of teas and syrups. During the optimization of this method, various...

Univerzita Karlova Pedagogická fakulta Katedra hudební výchovy DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE Enviromentální výchova jako součást Hv na 1. stupni ZŠ s využitím tvorby Jar. Uhlíře a Zd. Svěráka Environmental education as a part of Hv at the 1st stage of elementary school with the use of works by Jar. Uhlíř and Zd. Svěrák Martina Urbanová ABSTRACT The subject of the work is the integration of elements of environmental education into the education of music education at the 1st stage of primary school through the creation of Jar. Uhlíř and Zd. Svěrak. The aim of the theoretical part of the work is to map the basic principles and thematic areas of environmental education at the 1st stage of primary school and to analyze selected works of Jar. Uhlíř and Zd. Svěrák in terms of environmental elements. The practical part is focused on the integration of Ev topics in their creation into Hv classes through project teaching and on the actual implementation of this teaching in the form of experimental teaching.
Christian virtues, personality of an elementary teacher and his moral impact on pupils
URBANOVÁ, Martina
The paper deals with a question whether it is possible to identify any character elements of an elementary teacher that would agree with Christian virtues. First, we define the notion of a virtue and view the virtues from the historical development. Further, we divide the virtues into cardinal and theological ones. After that we characterize the term value from philosophical and psychological point of view, inclusive of the term character. In the second chapter, we mention the teacher's personality, the significance of teacher's example and his moral effect on pupils. In the last chapter, we provide a qualitative research using a content data analysis. From the qualitative research we can see that virtues can be found in attitudes, personality traits and values. The transmission of virtues occurs mainly by its own example of each teacher.
Shaping of Legal Consciousnes of non-law University Students
Krupová, Tereza ; Kysela, Jan (advisor) ; Maršálek, Pavel (referee) ; Urbanová, Martina (referee)
This dissertation thesis Shaping of Legal Consciousness of non-law University Students aims to explore the process of forming legal literacy and consciousness of non-lawyers mainly via education. Premise or audited issue is that didactics and methodology of law and hence connected cultivation of legal consciousness of individuals are not very effective. Thereof the starting point is the anticipated inefficiency of teaching law for non-lawyers. The thesis firstly looks for the purpose of university education today as well as the position of its students. Further the concept of legal consciousness is presented. The last two chapters confirm some hypothesis using results of researches made for this thesis. The first research focuses on university teachers of law to non- lawyers, the second one deals with universities' students and graduates.

Hydrophilically laminated nanomembranes
Urbanová, Martina ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor) ; Berka, Pavel (referee)
A theoretical part of the diploma thesis describes solubility, classification of solubility and ways of influencing of solubility, and it gives a detailed summary of naproxen as the drug further used and evaluated in in vitro experiments for drug release. An experimental section is focused to in vitro release of naproxen from nanofibre membranes produced by electrospinning with regard to the possibility of the use of layering. At both layered and non-layered nanofibre membranes of three different naproxen concentrations (e.g. 5%, 15% and 30% by weight) the drug release amounts within 5 minutes were from 10 to 90 percent of total amounts. An overal percentage of naproxen released in 60 minutes was always about 100 % of the total drug loaded in the nanomembranes. The nanofibre membranes layered with the glycerol and propylene glycol were of the same profiles as with non-layered membranes.
