The theory and practice of Audiovisual Coloring

The thesis discusses the theory and practice of audiovisual coloring. The purpose of this study is to: (a) map the historical development of colour in movies, (b) define the main tasks of the colourists and the necessary tools to perform these tasks, (c) describe and analyse the right colouring material and (d) compare two of the most commonly used colour editing software products. In the practical part, two programs Davinci Resolve and Speedgrade will be compared based on selected parameters. Furthermore, there will be an analysis of the benefits of a Flat profile setting for color adjustment that is available in all DSLR cameras. This theory should be beneficial to those who are using standard digital cameras and have just started their learning about coloring. They can get knowledge of what coloring involves, what it is based on (the thesis includes a chapter of color theory), the suitable material for successful coloring and how to select the right software for their workflow.
From one script to three directors

This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of three films based on one same scenario. Its main goal is first to get acquainted with the directors of the films and to find out more about the period in which they acted. The practical part is then devoted to the analysis of each film separately, as each of the directors narrated their story, the differences in technical execution, the central characters of the film and finally the comparison of one identical scene.
Nikon's social networking with overlapping into other digital channels

This bachelor thesis deals with the mapping of Nikons activities on social networks and other digital channels. The work is logically structured into three parts. The methods used in this thesis are descriptive and analytical. The descriptive method is used mainly in the first part, which serves as a theoretical overview. This section discusses online marketing, digital channels, and also deals with social networks with a particular focus on Facebook and Instagram. In the second part, the aktivity on companys social networks is described. By using the theoretical knowledge from the first part, the analysis and evaluation of the current activities of the company on social networks is carried out. Based on the results of mapping the companys activities on social networks and other digital channels, recommendations and suggestions for potential improvement of marketing activities are presented in the third and final part. These recommendations are based on the analysis and are applied to the See-Think-Do-Care framework. The thesis ends with a conclusion summarizing the results achieved.
Principles of screenwriting and their application

This thesis is mainly focused on the principles of storytelling through film that can be adapted into screenplay. It acquaints one with the paradigm of dramatic construction along with attributes of the plot points. The paper defines character creation process, including various methods of bringing those characters to life. Furthermore, it touches upon the subject of the fundamental screenwriting rules. Theoretical knowledge is applied to developing a screenplay for a short film which shows how that knowledge can confront reality.
Visual storytelling in the audiovisual medium

This bachelor thesis concentrates on visual storytelling of a film. The aim of the paper is to summarize and present the basic methods of visual storytelling with the focus on audio-visual medium - namely a film. The paper explains the general principles of creating a film shot and cinematic composition and presents examples of their use in already existing works. The paper deals with the influence of these specific filmmaking methods on cinema audience. These methods will be afterwards practically used during the creation of my own film.

The bachelor thesis focuses on branding if the Zoot.cz online shop and its private brand Alchymi. It contains evaluation of the branding strategy aiming to enhance the brand. The theoretical part is concerned with elements of marketing communication, branding strategy and development of a fashion brand. The focus of the practical part is the analysis of the Zoot company and its private brand Alchymi, followed by suggestions to improve the brand's communication and gage the public's awareness of it.
SEO audit and content analysis of the selected website

This bachelor thesis deals with SEO audit and content analysis for a particular website. The aim is to outline the process of search engine optimization and then verify if the website is sufficiently optimized on the basis of the information gathered. The theoretical part is defined by basic problems, the most commonly used methods of optimization and link-building, and outlined the process of creating keyword analysis. Then there is a brief explanation about how search engines work and which factors are crucial for evaluating the positions of web pages in a search. At the end it describes the necessary tools for a quality SEO audit. In the practical part, there will be an executed SEO audit on the basis of theoretical knowledge along with content analysis, which will be based on the keyword analysis. Part of SEO audit will be specific recommendations for increasing traffic from organic search.
Analysis of open format videocodecs

Hypothesis of this thesis states that even though open format codecs are available for free, they are equal alternative to the patented ones. This was verified by set of objective tests. Quality of videos was measured by PSNR and SSIM methods firstly on HD 8-bit sequences with various framerate encoded by Theora, VP8, VP9, H.264 and H.265. Afterwards were codecs tested on 4K 10-bit sequence encoded by coding standards H.264, H.265 and VP9 codec to see how they will perform in future usage in UHD content distribution. Last test shows computational demands and quality in fast encoding mode. Thesis also includes overview of each codec support by ICT devices, which is not as wide as H.264's but is raising.
Analysis of preconditions for the creation of 360-degree video technology and its production

This bachelor´s thesis deals with a new type of media which represents the 360-degree video technology. The theoretic part of the thesis analyses the history and evolution of the audio-visual work and the preconditions leading to the creation of 360-degree video technology. This technology is defined in depth and the production cycle is chronologically described including the differences from the recording of the traditional audio-visual work. The practical part of the bachelor´s thesis introduces the details of the specific production process on which I participated in person.
Preparation of director of photography before filming focused on the selection of adequate audiovisual equipment to type of production

The work deals with the preparation of director of photography for the production of audio-visual work. The theoretical part describes the fundamental knowledge needed to do proper preparation before shooting. Furthermore analysis of differences in preparation process in relation to different types of production is made. These findings are applied in the practical part, which is an analysis of selected cameras, whether they are suitable for various types of production.
